Driver Requirements & Benefits

Pre-Hire Requirements

All verifications and validations are done in writing
Must be at least 22yrs of age.
Must have 1 year verifiable driving experience.
Pre Lease drug screen.
Must have driven for 12 months over the road with a recognized motor/private carrier.

Valid CDL Class A Hazmat Endorsement preferred.
Valid long form DOT physical with physician’s signature.
No preventable accident(s) within the last twelve (12) months.
Has never been tested positive for controlled substance / alcohol.
MVR must not contain more than 6 pts in the last (3) years.
Must be able to maintain both the JAXPORT and TWIC badges.
Age of tractor must be 2000 or newer.

Communication

Spectrum Logistics owner operators keep in constant communication with their shipment coordinators. This allows the customer the ability to have live time data on their precious cargo.
